For flights between Kochi and Chengdu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their KrisFlyer number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Kochi to Singapore sector operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with enhanced personal space. On the Singapore to Chengdu sector on the Boeing 787-10, Economy Class also offers about 32 inches of pitch and up to 19 inches of width, and Business Class features fully flat beds with direct aisle access for every seat.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy gardens, art installations, rest areas, playgrounds, and a wide choice of dining and shopping without leaving the terminal. For longer connections, you may be able to join a city tour if your schedule fits the minimum time required. At Kochi (COK), eligible customers may use the Earth Premium Lounge before departure. During your layover at Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers can access facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

For a single ticketed itinerary from Kochi to Chengdu via Singapore with Singapore Airlines, we normally check your baggage through to Chengdu at Kochi. You can confirm this at check-in, where our staff will ensure your bags are tagged correctly for your connecting flight in Singapore.

Kochi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) all year. Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8:00) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Chengdu is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Kochi at all times of the year.
