For flights between Kochi and Ho Chi Minh City, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Kochi–Singapore and Singapore–Ho Chi Minh City sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, designed to provide balanced comfort for the journey. Business Class seats convert into a fully flat bed, with every seat providing direct aisle access for added privacy and ease of movement.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kochi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and frequent flyer status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free city tours, which typically require at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. These guided trips let you see key highlights before returning in time for your onward journey.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. You can relax in themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and snooze zones, or enjoy facilities such as swimming pools, entertainment zones, and family-friendly play spaces spread across the terminals.

There are also transit hotels and shower facilities if you would like to freshen up between flights, along with a wide range of dining and shopping options within the secure area. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Kochi follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 year-round and does not observe daylight saving time. Ho Chi Minh City follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Ho Chi Minh City is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Kochi throughout the year.
