For Kochi–Istanbul flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Kochi to Istanbul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. Wi-Fi is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their entitlement.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kochi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may wish to join an official transit tour from Singapore Changi Airport, which offers a glimpse of the city’s landmarks without managing your own arrangements. For shorter layovers, it is more comfortable to stay airside and explore the airport itself. For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
