For flights between Kochi and Seoul, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares, 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kochi to Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The connection is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kochi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers can use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their layover.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to spending your layover entirely airside, with themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and play areas for families. Depending on your terminal, you may also find facilities such as a swimming pool, cinema, and transit hotels that can be booked for short stays.

If you have a longer layover, you can consider joining one of the official transit tours into the city, which usually require a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours of available time between flights. These guided options allow you to see highlights of Singapore and return in time for your onward boarding.

Kochi follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (KST), which is UTC+9:00 all year. Seoul is therefore 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Kochi at any time of the year.
