For flights between Bengaluru and Da Nang, the weight-concept baggage allowance applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class on the Bengaluru–Singapore sector includes 35kg of checked baggage. Business Class on both sectors includes 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bengaluru–Singapore Airbus A350-900 services, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Da Nang Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class offers a comfortable 32-inch pitch, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

For shorter layovers at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy themed gardens, play areas, quiet resting zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping within the terminals. If your layover is at least about 5.5 to 6 hours, you may consider joining one of the airport’s official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and operating hours. Airport hotels and snooze areas are also available if you prefer to rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Bengaluru follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Da Nang follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Da Nang is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Bengaluru throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bengaluru–Singapore and Singapore–Da Nang) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Da Nang is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
