For flights between Delhi and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite/Value fares and 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares, Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class passengers have 40kg, and Suites passengers on the Airbus A380-800 sector have 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites and Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members required to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Eligible passengers may relax in the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their transit.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Delhi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free official transit tour into the city, typically available for layovers of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to operating times and registration. This lets you see key highlights before returning comfortably for your onward flight. For shorter layovers, staying airside offers plenty to do, from themed gardens and art installations to rest zones, play areas, and quiet corners to freshen up. Some terminals also feature attractions such as indoor greenery and waterfall views. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Delhi follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Xiamen follows China Standard Time (CST), which is UTC+8 and also does not change throughout the year. Xiamen is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Delhi at all times.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Delhi–Singapore and Singapore–Xiamen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.
