Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee, is available throughout the flight. Our signature Singapore Sling is also served on board.

For flights between Rome and Hyderabad, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite/Value fares, 30kg for Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the Rome–Singapore–Hyderabad journey. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Rome–Singapore Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Hyderabad Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class provides comfortable legroom similar to our standard short- to medium-haul product, and Business Class offers reclining seats with generous space and legroom.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Rome but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive transit facilities, including themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and art installations, so you can comfortably stay airside between your Rome and Hyderabad flights. With a longer layover, you may be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, which usually requires several hours of connection time and meeting specific conditions. Shorter connections are best spent exploring the terminals, where you will find relaxation areas, showers, and a variety of dining and shopping options. Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Rome–Singapore and Singapore–Hyderabad) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hyderabad is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
