Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served on all sectors, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a classic taste of Singapore during your journey.

For flights between Bangkok and Phuket via Singapore, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Non-members can purchase Wi-Fi plans on board. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bangkok–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on both the Boeing 787-10 and the Airbus A350-900. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have several hours in Singapore, you can join one of the official transit tours into the city, which generally require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. These tours offer a convenient way to see key landmarks without arranging your own transport.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Singapore Changi Airport is very comfortable, with indoor gardens, rest areas, showers, and quiet zones where you can relax between flights. There are also children’s play spaces and a wide range of dining outlets.

If you prefer more privacy, consider booking an airport hotel room for a few hours to rest and refresh before continuing to Phuket. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it's an integral part of your journey.

Bangkok and Phuket share the same time zone, Indochina Time (UTC+7), and neither city observes daylight saving time. This means there is no time difference between Bangkok and Phuket at any time of the year, making it easy to keep plans and appointments when you arrive.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Phuket International Airport when flying from Bangkok via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
