For Brisbane to Johannesburg flights, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers enjoy 35kg, and Business Class passengers enjoy 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Brisbane and Johannesburg once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, entertainment zones, and transit hotels, making even shorter layovers comfortable. For medium-length transits, you can enjoy the airport’s art installations, indoor greenery, and a wide choice of dining and shopping.

On longer layovers of around 5.5 to 6 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit city tour, subject to operating hours and entry requirements, to see highlights of Singapore before returning to your gate. Always allow ample time for immigration, security, and boarding.
