Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, alongside a curated range of other alcoholic beverages.

For flights between Munich and Surabaya, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests enjoy 35kg, and Business Class guests enjoy 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Munich to Surabaya once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Airbus A350-900, our KrisWorld entertainment system offers a wide choice of movies, TV programmes, music, and games on both sectors between Munich, Singapore, and Surabaya. You can browse content through a personal screen at your seat and use the system from shortly after take-off until just before landing.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited for both short and longer layovers. For longer connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you can consider joining an official transit tour of Singapore, which lets you see key highlights without managing logistics yourself. Shorter layovers can be comfortably spent exploring the airport’s themed gardens, rest zones, and curated art displays.

You can also enjoy a variety of dining outlets, shopping options, and family-friendly facilities, or book a room at an airport hotel if you prefer privacy and rest. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

When departing from Munich Airport on a Singapore Airlines-operated flight to Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to use partner lounges such as the Lufthansa Senator Lounge or Lufthansa Business Lounge, depending on their class of travel or frequent flyer status. Lounge access is determined by the eligibility rules in place on the day of travel.

Surabaya uses Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. This means Surabaya is 6 hours ahead of Munich in winter, and 5 hours ahead in summer.
