For flights between San Francisco and Jakarta, the piece concept applies to checked baggage. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg; Premium Economy Class passengers 2 pieces, each up to 23kg; Business Class passengers 2 pieces, each up to 32kg; and First Class passengers 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from San Francisco but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.
