For flights between Taipei and Da Nang, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite and Value fares; 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights between Taipei, Singapore, and Da Nang once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Taipei to Singapore and Singapore to Da Nang sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with generous space and direct aisle access on the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-10, and lie-flat or recliner-style seats with ample legroom on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.

Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover at Singapore Changi Airport is long enough, you can join one of the airport’s official city tours, which usually require at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of transit time. These tours let you see some highlights of Singapore without worrying about arranging your own transport.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Changi Airport is very comfortable. You can enjoy indoor gardens, quiet rest areas, free movie screenings, and family zones, or simply stretch your legs along the terminals’ walking routes between shops and dining options.

If you prefer extra rest, consider booking time at an in-terminal transit hotel or using pay-per-use lounges and snooze zones. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Taipei–Singapore and Singapore–Da Nang) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Da Nang is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
