Throughout your journey, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board. Please note that no meal service is provided for Economy Class passengers on the Singapore–Penang segment due to the short flight time.

For flights between Taipei and Penang, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary slightly between aircraft types on this route.

On both the Taipei–Singapore and Singapore–Penang sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make layovers comfortable and enjoyable, with themed gardens, rest areas, showers, and family-friendly play zones across the terminals. For shorter layovers, you can relax in quiet zones, explore the indoor greenery, or enjoy a meal between flights.

If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours and your schedule aligns, you can consider joining one of the airport's transit tour options into the city, allowing you to see some of Singapore before returning for your onward flight. Always check eligibility, timings, and entry requirements in advance.

Taipei follows Taiwan Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Penang follows Malaysia Time, also UTC+8, and likewise does not change throughout the year. This means there is no time difference between Taipei and Penang at any time of the year.

For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
