For flights between Colombo and Ho Chi Minh City, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Economy Class Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Economy Class Standard and Flexi fares, 40kg for Business Class, and each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are one piece up to 7kg in Economy Class, and two pieces up to 7kg each in Business Class. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. For example, if you fly Economy from Colombo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive airside facilities, including indoor gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and a wide selection of shops and dining options, making it easy to relax without leaving the terminal. If your layover is long enough, you may also be able to join an official transit tour of the city, which usually requires several hours between flights. Shorter connections are well supported with clear signage, efficient security, and comfortable seating throughout the terminals.
