For flights between Guangzhou and Penang, our weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the Guangzhou–Singapore and Singapore–Penang sectors. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Guangzhou but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to layovers of all lengths, with themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and family-friendly facilities located across its terminals. For shorter connections, it is best to stay airside, explore the terminal, enjoy a meal, or relax in a quiet zone near your gate.

If you have a longer layover, you can consider joining one of the airport’s official transit tour programmes, which typically require at least 5.5 to 6 hours of connection time to join comfortably. These tours offer a snapshot of the city before you return to the terminal for your onward flight.
