Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a range of hot and cold beverages, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, adding a distinctive touch to your journey.

For Kathmandu–Busan flights, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kathmandu to Busan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Kathmandu–Singapore and Singapore–Busan sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey. Business Class features a fully flat bed-style seat with generous personal space and direct aisle access or easy aisle access, designed for rest and privacy on both sectors.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible passengers may be able to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their travel class and tier.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kathmandu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

For a layover in Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining the official transit tour if your connection is long enough, generally requiring at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This lets you see highlights of the city before returning to the terminal. If your layover is shorter, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, entertainment zones, and quiet corners to relax. Airport hotels and shower facilities also help you freshen up between sectors. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Kathmandu follows Nepal Time (UTC+5:45) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. Busan follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9:00), also without daylight saving. Busan is therefore 3 hours 15 minutes ahead of Kathmandu throughout the year, regardless of the month.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Kathmandu–Singapore and Singapore–Busan) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Busan is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
