For flights between Shanghai and Delhi, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite and Value fares; 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg, available on selected Shanghai to Singapore sectors). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Shanghai to Delhi once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. The service does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shanghai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well suited to both short and longer layovers. For transits of around 5.5 hours or more, you may have time to join one of the official transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and operating hours. For shorter stays, you can enjoy the many airside facilities.

Across the terminals you will find indoor gardens, rest areas, play zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. Depending on your terminal, there are also options such as pay-per-use lounges and transit hotels where you can shower or take a nap between flights.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Delhi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
