For flights between Shanghai and Hyderabad, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the Shanghai–Singapore and Singapore–Hyderabad sectors. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Shanghai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

At Singapore Changi Airport, shorter layovers can be comfortably spent airside, enjoying themed gardens, rest zones, and a wide range of dining options. For longer connections, you can explore attractions such as indoor waterfalls, walking trails, and dedicated relaxation areas within the terminals. If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may have time to join an official transit city tour, subject to availability and entry requirements.
