For flights between Bengaluru and Osaka, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares; Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg; Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bengaluru to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a sufficiently long layover of about 5.5 hours or more, you can also consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and timing.

For shorter layovers, you can remain airside and explore terminals linked by efficient people-mover systems, with options such as walking trails, viewing decks, play areas, and a broad choice of dining. Many passengers also appreciate the chance to freshen up with showers or short-stay hotel rooms located within or near the terminals.
