For flights between Bengaluru and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Bengaluru–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Xiamen sector, Economy Class provides similar generous legroom, and Business Class offers a fully flat or deeply reclining seat with ample personal space and direct aisle access, depending on aircraft configuration.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bengaluru but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible passengers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities for different layover lengths, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and family-friendly play spaces. For shorter connections, you can stay airside, enjoy dining and shopping, or relax in one of the comfortable seating zones near your departure gate.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join one of the airport’s free transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and timing, allowing you to see highlights of Singapore before returning for your onward flight. Alternatively, airport hotels and nap facilities provide a calm place to rest.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bengaluru–Singapore and Singapore–Xiamen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Xiamen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
