With the New Year now in full swing, Singapore Airlines is excited to have taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900, becoming only the fifth carrier globally to do so. The first scheduled long-haul service will launch on 9 May to Amsterdam, followed by Dusseldorf from 21 July, with other destinations still to be announced.
Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines has also introduced a first-of-its-kind mobile application. The 'Companion App' allows travellers to preview the onboard video and audio content and create pre-selected favourites lists from the ground. Once on board, they can link to and control the seat-back system directly from their own devices. This service will initially be available on our new A350 aircraft.
Friday 1st April also marks the 30th anniversary of our flights from Manchester, making us the longest serving international long-haul carrier to serve the airport. To learn more, please contact us for more details.
