Please note that no meal service is provided for Economy Class passengers on the Singapore–Kuala Lumpur segment due to the short flight time.

For flights between Hyderabad and Kuala Lumpur, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite or Value fares, and 30kg on Standard or Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact baggage allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Hyderabad to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hyderabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN).

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to spend your layover, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. For longer transits, you can consider the official free city tour, which usually requires a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours to join comfortably.

If your connection is shorter, you can stay airside and enjoy facilities such as butterfly and sunflower gardens, viewing galleries, and entertainment zones. There are also plenty of dining options and comfortable seating areas throughout the terminals.

Hyderabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Kuala Lumpur follows Malaysia Time (MYT), which is UTC+8 and also does not change during the year. Kuala Lumpur is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Hyderabad throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Hyderabad–Singapore and Singapore–Kuala Lumpur) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
