Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. You can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling cocktail on board, along with a curated choice of other beverages.

For flights between Auckland and Ho Chi Minh City, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg, and Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Auckland to Ho Chi Minh City once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Auckland but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be used to join one of the airport's free transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours, subject to the official programme conditions. You can explore key landmarks before returning in time for your connecting flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet zones, rest areas, and even entertainment options such as cinemas and play areas. Showers and airport hotels are also available if you prefer to freshen up and rest between flights.
