For flights between Guangzhou and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Guangzhou to Xiamen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Guangzhou but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore (SIN).

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities that make layovers comfortable, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, children play zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. If your transit time is longer, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter transits, you can relax in seating zones, freshen up with shower facilities, or visit entertainment and relaxation spaces within the terminal. Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Xiamen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
