For flights between Xiamen and Osaka, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers enjoy a 40kg checked baggage allowance. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Xiamen to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Xiamen but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive amenities that make layovers comfortable and engaging. With a longer connection of at least 5.5–6 hours, you can consider joining one of the airport's official transit tours to see highlights of the city before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, remaining airside is very convenient, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and entertainment zones available across the terminals. You can take a relaxing walk, enjoy a meal, or simply find a calm corner to recharge between flights.

Xiamen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8), while Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9). Neither location observes daylight saving time, so Osaka is consistently 1 hour ahead of Xiamen throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
