Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. A range of alcoholic beverages is also available, and our signature Singapore Sling is served on board across all cabins on this route.

For flights between Taipei and Surabaya, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg; in Business Class, the allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Surabaya once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to spend your layover when travelling from Taipei to Surabaya. With a longer connection of at least about 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider a free transit tour of the city, subject to the airport’s current programme and eligibility. For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, quiet rest areas, shower facilities, and family zones, as well as dining and shopping.
