For flights between Zurich and Johannesburg, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests may check in up to 35kg, and Business Class guests up to 40kg. First Class guests on the Zurich to Singapore sector may check in up to 50kg of baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance applicable to your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Zurich to Johannesburg once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of ways to enjoy your layover, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels. If your layover is at least 5.5 hours, you may consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to operating hours and eligibility.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and explore the airport’s amenities, which may include viewing decks, children’s play areas, spa services, and a variety of dining and shopping options across the terminals.
