For flights between Bangkok and Munich, our weight-concept policy applies. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg of checked baggage, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Munich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both sectors between Bangkok, Singapore, and Munich, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width. Premium Economy Class, available on Airbus A350-900 flights, offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20 inches of seat width. Business Class on both the Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A350-900 features a fully flat bed, with every seat providing direct aisle access on the Airbus A350-900.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may have access to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and transit hotels for longer breaks. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may wish to join one of the airport's guided transit tours into the city, subject to availability and entry requirements. Shorter layovers can be comfortably spent exploring the terminals, enjoying dining options, or relaxing in dedicated quiet zones. Munich follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter, typically late October to late March, making Munich 6 hours behind Bangkok. In summer, Munich moves to Central European Summer Time (UTC+2), usually late March to late October, making it 5 hours behind Bangkok.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Munich) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Munich is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
