Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices and soft drinks. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, along with a curated range of other beverages.

For flights between Chengdu and Perth, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Perth once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities, including indoor gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones, so even a short layover can be comfortable and engaging. For shorter connections, you can stay airside, explore the terminals, and relax at quiet zones or viewing areas.

If you have a longer layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour of Singapore, which allows you to see highlights of the city before returning in time for your onward flight. Alternatively, airport hotels and spa facilities provide a quiet place to rest between journeys.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) throughout the year. Perth operates on Australian Western Standard Time (UTC+8) and does not observe daylight saving time. This means there is typically no time difference between Chengdu and Perth at any time of the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Perth Airport when flying from Chengdu via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
