Premium Economy Class on the Singapore–Johannesburg sector includes 35kg. Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

In Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, you may bring 1 piece of cabin baggage up to 7kg. In Business Class, you may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Denpasar Bali but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.
