For flights between Hanoi and Yangon, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, you can check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers can check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Hanoi to Yangon once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hanoi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent exploring themed gardens, art installations, and relaxation zones, or joining one of the airport’s official transit tours into the city, which generally require at least a 5.5-hour connection. For shorter layovers, enjoy quiet spaces, showers, and a wide choice of dining and shopping close to your gate. Hanoi operates on Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Yangon operates on Myanmar Time (UTC+6:30), also without daylight saving. Yangon is 30 minutes behind Hanoi throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Hanoi–Singapore and Singapore–Yangon) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Yangon is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
