For flights between Hong Kong and Dubai, our baggage policy uses the weight concept. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, Business Class passengers 40kg, and First Class passengers 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Hong Kong to Dubai once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hong Kong but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers may relax at The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport, depending on their cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free city tour programme, which usually requires a minimum transit time of around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. These tours let you experience highlights of Singapore before returning comfortably to the airport. For shorter layovers, staying airside offers plenty of options, including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and in-terminal attractions such as art installations and viewing galleries. You can also take a shower, enjoy a meal, or book a room at an airport hotel for added privacy and rest. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
