For flights between Kolkata and Cairns, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class customers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside, enjoy the greenery, stretch your legs, or catch up on rest in designated relaxation areas.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join a free official transit tour that takes you into the city to see key sights before returning in time for your connection, subject to operating hours and eligibility. Alternatively, you can explore the airport’s attractions, including viewing decks and family-friendly play areas.
