Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, wines, and spirits. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board, so you can enjoy a classic cocktail as you travel.

For flights between Phuket and Kochi, our routes use the weight concept for checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Connectivity may vary slightly by aircraft and route sector.

On both the Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Kochi sectors operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for regional flights. Business Class features a fully flat bed with generous space and direct aisle access for every seat.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Phuket but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable transits, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. If your layover is at least 5.5 hours and you meet eligibility criteria, you can consider joining one of the official transit tours into the city for a short sightseeing break.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very convenient, with relaxation zones, children’s play areas, and in-terminal attractions that help the time pass pleasantly. You can also freshen up with shower facilities or book an airport hotel if you prefer to rest.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Phuket–Singapore and Singapore–Kochi) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kochi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
