For flights between Tokyo and Denpasar Bali, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares and 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg on the Tokyo–Singapore sector where available). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines services on the Tokyo–Singapore and Singapore–Denpasar Bali route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Tokyo–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Premium Economy Class on selected Boeing 777-300ER flights offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Tokyo but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible customers can use lounges such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy lush indoor gardens, art installations, and quiet rest areas across the terminals. For shorter transits, consider stretching your legs along the walking trails, browsing shops, or relaxing at a café close to your onward gate.

If your layover is longer, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, often available for passengers with at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, subject to programme schedules and eligibility. Alternatively, you can book an airport hotel, enjoy spa facilities, or simply unwind in one of the tranquil seating zones.
