Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea, is available throughout the flight, along with alcoholic beverages where offered. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board to complement your in-flight experience.

For flights between Sydney and Dubai, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Economy Class Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Economy Class Standard and Flexi, 35kg for Premium Economy Class, 40kg for Business Class, and 50kg for Suites and First Class. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are one piece up to 7kg in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, and two pieces each up to 7kg in Suites, First Class, and Business Class. Your final allowance is displayed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Sydney to Dubai once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On all sectors between Sydney, Singapore, and Dubai, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, and Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with every seat offering direct aisle access. First Class and Suites feature fully flat beds designed for restful sleep on your journey.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Sydney but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

For longer layovers, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city if your schedule permits, while shorter connections are well spent exploring the airport’s amenities or relaxing in a lounge if you are eligible. Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Dubai International Airport when flying from Sydney via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Sydney–Singapore and Singapore–Dubai) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Dubai is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Sydney–Dubai trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
