For flights between Yangon and Dhaka, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, you may check in up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is always shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Yangon to Dhaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend planning any high-data activities for when you are on the ground.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Yangon but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make your layover relaxing and enjoyable, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and a wide choice of dining and shopping. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and explore facilities such as indoor greenery, play areas, and comfortable seating zones.

If you have a longer connection, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires at least 5.5–6 hours of available time between flights and meeting specific entry requirements. This offers a convenient way to see highlights of Singapore without managing logistics on your own.

Yangon operates on Myanmar Time (MMT), which is UTC+6:30, and does not observe daylight saving time. Dhaka uses Bangladesh Standard Time (BST), which is UTC+6, also without daylight saving. This means Yangon is typically 30 minutes ahead of Dhaka throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Yangon–Singapore and Singapore–Dhaka) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.
