For flights between Bangkok and Seoul, our weight-concept policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg of checked baggage, and Business Class includes 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Bangkok to Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On all sectors between Bangkok, Singapore, and Seoul, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of around 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing good comfort for regional and medium-haul flights. Business Class features a fully flat bed with generous personal space and direct aisle access on our lie-flat configurations.

On Bangkok–Singapore flights operated by the Airbus A350-900, Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch seat pitch and up to 20 inches of width, with additional recline and leg support compared with Economy Class. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Bangkok but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers can relax in the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to spend your layover comfortably. With shorter connections, you can stay airside and explore themed gardens, quiet rest areas, art installations, and a wide range of shops and dining options spread across the terminals.

For longer layovers, you can consider the official free city sightseeing programmes that typically require several hours between flights; these give you a brief introduction to Singapore without handling your checked baggage. Alternatively, airport hotels and nap facilities within or near the terminals provide a chance to rest and freshen up.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Bangkok–Singapore and Singapore–Seoul) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Seoul is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Bangkok–Seoul trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability. When booking, you can search for multi-city options or speak with our customer service team or your travel agent, who can advise whether a stopover can be added to your itinerary.
