For flights between Barcelona and Male, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on the Airbus A350-900 once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on both sectors between Barcelona, Singapore, and Male. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Barcelona–Singapore and Singapore–Male sectors operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Business Class features a fully flat bed with every seat offering direct aisle access.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Barcelona but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy one of the world’s most comfortable transit experiences. For longer connections of around 5.5 hours or more, you may wish to consider the airport’s official city tours, which let you briefly explore Singapore before returning for your onward flight. Shorter layovers can be pleasantly spent in the airport’s themed gardens, resting areas, and relaxation zones. Depending on your terminal, you may also find facilities such as swimming pools, cinemas, and children’s play areas to make the time pass quickly. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Barcelona follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. Male observes Maldives Time (UTC+5) all year. This means Male is 4 hours ahead of Barcelona during winter, and 3 hours ahead during Barcelona’s summer time.
