Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee, is served throughout the flight. Our signature Singapore Sling cocktail is also available on board in all cabins.

For flights between Cape Town and Paris, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may check 35kg, and Business Class passengers may check 40kg. First Class passengers on the Singapore–Paris sector may check 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Cape Town to Paris once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Cape Town–Johannesburg and Johannesburg–Singapore and Singapore–Paris) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connections in Johannesburg and Singapore must each be less than 24 hours. If either layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If any onward flight from Johannesburg or Singapore to Paris is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Cape Town–Paris trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
