Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices and soft drinks, is available during your flights. You can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling on board, along with other beverages, subject to availability and local regulations.

For flights between Cebu and Chennai, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft reaches above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

Our inflight Wi-Fi is suitable for messaging, email, and basic web browsing. It does not support high-bandwidth activities such as video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, to ensure a stable service for all users.

On both the Cebu–Singapore and Singapore–Chennai sectors operated by the Boeing 737-8 MAX, Economy Class seats offer a comfortable 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, designed for good legroom and support on medium-haul flights.

Business Class on these flights features seats that convert into a fully flat bed, with generous personal space and direct aisle access for every passenger, allowing you to rest, work, or dine with ease during the journey.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Cebu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make layovers comfortable and engaging, with themed gardens, rest zones, and a wide variety of dining options. For shorter connections, you can stay airside, enjoying amenities such as relaxation areas, children’s play spaces, and quiet corners for reading or work.

With a longer layover, you can explore more of the airport’s attractions, including indoor gardens and entertainment facilities in the different terminals. If your transit time and entry requirements allow, you may also consider joining an official city tour programme, which typically requires a minimum layover of around 5–6 hours.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Cebu–Singapore and Singapore–Chennai) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Chennai is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
