Beverage Service
A range of hot and cold drinks is available throughout your journey, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board for you to enjoy during your flight.

For flights between Chengdu and Da Nang, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on both the Chengdu to Singapore and Singapore to Da Nang sectors. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Chengdu to Singapore sector, our Boeing 787-10 offers Economy Class with a seat pitch of 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, and Business Class with a fully flat bed and direct aisle access at every seat. On the Singapore to Da Nang sector, the Boeing 737-8 MAX offers Economy Class with a similar 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch width, and Business Class configured with seats that convert into a fully flat bed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining the official Free Singapore Tour, which usually requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. For shorter layovers, you can explore the terminals gardens, rest areas, children play zones, and entertainment spaces without leaving the airport. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Yes, at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU), eligible Singapore Airlines passengers may be able to use the TFU International First Class and Business Class Lounge before departure, depending on their cabin class or frequent flyer status.

During your transit at Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers travelling on Singapore Airlines may have access to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to their class of travel and KrisFlyer or Star Alliance status. Lounge entitlements are confirmed at check-in and at the lounge reception.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year. Da Nang follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. This means Da Nang is 1 hour behind Chengdu throughout the year.

For flights from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to Da Nang via Singapore, we recommend arriving at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows enough time for check-in, baggage drop, security checks, and reaching your boarding gate comfortably.

Da Nang International Airport is close to the city centre and beachfront areas. On arrival, you can choose from taxis, pre-arranged hotel transfers, or app-based car services. Journey times are usually short, but we recommend checking local guidance or your hotel for the most up-to-date transport options.

Da Nang is generally warm and humid, so light, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and swimwear for the beach are useful. A light jacket or shawl is helpful for cooler evenings or air-conditioned spaces. Remember to pack any personal medication and travel documents in your cabin baggage.
