You will be served complimentary meals in both Business Class and Economy Class on the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Xiamen sectors, with menus designed for the regional journey and served at appropriate times based on your departure.

Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also offered on board, so you can enjoy a distinctive taste of Singapore during your journey.

For flights between Manila and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Manila to Xiamen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Xiamen sectors in Economy Class, you can expect a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing good comfort for regional flights. In Business Class on both sectors, you will enjoy a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on wide-body aircraft and spacious reclining seats with generous personal space on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed to make transits comfortable and engaging, with themed gardens, art installations, rest areas, and children’s play zones. For layovers of at least 5.5 hours, you may join an official free city transit tour, subject to operating hours and eligibility.

For shorter layovers, you can relax in quiet zones, visit indoor gardens, enjoy a meal at one of the many dining outlets, or freshen up with shower facilities and airport hotels located within or near the terminals. Clear signage and efficient security and immigration processes help you move smoothly between gates.

Manila follows Philippine Time (UTC+8) all year round, without daylight saving time. Xiamen also observes China Standard Time (UTC+8) throughout the year and does not use daylight saving time. This means there is no time difference between Manila and Xiamen at any time of the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Xiamen when flying from Manila via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Xiamen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Xiamen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Manila–Xiamen trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
