For flights between Penang and Zurich, our baggage policy is based on the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase Wi-Fi plans on board.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend planning any high-bandwidth activities for when you are on the ground.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be invited to use lounges such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of amenities for both short and longer layovers, including themed gardens, rest areas, and family-friendly attractions. For layovers of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join an official transit tour of the city, subject to eligibility and schedule.
