For flights between Dubai and Los Angeles, the piece concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg, while Premium Economy Class guests may check 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. Business Class guests may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg, and First Class guests may check 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked piece must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Los Angeles once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members required to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Dubai to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, Premium Economy Class offers about 38 inches of pitch with up to 20 inches of width, Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class offers a spacious fully flat bed. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to make your layover enjoyable, from themed gardens and art installations to rest zones and play areas. For longer layovers, you may be able to join an official city tour if your connection meets the minimum duration required. For shorter stays, you can relax in comfortable seating areas, enjoy a meal at one of the many dining outlets, or refresh at airport facilities without leaving the terminal. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

In Dubai, eligible customers may use facilities such as the Ahlan First Class Lounge or Ahlan Business Class Lounge at DXB, depending on cabin and frequent flyer status. During your layover at Singapore, eligible travellers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, as applicable for their onward flight and membership tier.

On a single Singapore Airlines itinerary from Dubai to Los Angeles, we normally check your baggage through to your final destination at Dubai check-in.
