For flights between Hyderabad and Medan, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on this route. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure to enjoy this. Paid plans are available for non-members.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hyderabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and multiple terminals connected by efficient transit. If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join an official city transit tour, subject to operating hours and entry requirements.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside and enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, art installations, and dedicated relaxation zones. Many travellers also take advantage of shower facilities or an airport hotel if they want to rest between flights.
