For flights between Chengdu and Cebu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may bring up to 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Cebu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Chengdu to Singapore Boeing 787-10 sector and the Singapore to Cebu Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class seats offer around a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing good comfort for the journey. Business Class features fully flat beds with every seat offering direct aisle access on both sectors.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which usually requires at least around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This is a convenient way to see highlights of Singapore without handling your checked baggage.

For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy Changi Airport’s facilities, including themed gardens, rest zones, and a wide choice of dining and shopping options spread across the terminals. Some terminals also offer family-friendly play areas and quiet corners suited to relaxation.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time. Cebu also follows a UTC+8 time zone year-round without daylight saving. This means there is no time difference between Chengdu and Cebu at any time of the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Cebu is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
