About the Speaker

Herbal Harmony: A TCM Journey (the “Experience”) is offered by Singapore Airlines (“SIA”), and you and your guests’ participation in the Experience is governed by the terms and conditions herein. By submitting the registration form for the Experience, you agree to the terms and conditions herein.

Experience Details:

Participants (defined below) will enjoy a specially curated 4-course dinner reception

  1. To be eligible to participate in the Experience, a PPS Club member must be a direct recipient of the electronic mailer sent by SIA titled “Herbal Harmony: A TCM Journey” (each such PPS Club member to be referred to as an "Eligible Member"), which contains a link to the registration form for the Experience. The Experience is non-transferrable. SIA reserves the right to reject any registration for the Experience if the eligibility conditions set out in this clause are not met.
  2. Registrations for the Experience will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will be closed one week prior to the date of the Experience, or when it is fully subscribed, whichever is earlier.
  3. If you have successfully registered for the Experience, you and your guest (as applicable) may attend the Experience and you will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email will serve as proof of entry for the Experience. PPS Club members who have successfully registered for the Experience and their guests shall be referred to as “Participants”. PPS Club members who have successfully registered for the Experience shall procure their guest’s agreement to and compliance with these terms and conditions (as applicable). 
  4. Participants agree to comply and adhere to all relevant requirements pursuant to any prevailing and applicable requirements, including any Safe Management Measures (“SMM”), as may be communicated by the relevant authorities, Shangri-La Singapore and/or SIA when attending the Experience. 
  5. Participants shall not bring food and beverages of any kind into Shangri-La Singapore. 
  6. In the event a Participant is unable to attend the Experience due to testing positive for COVID-19, such Participant shall not attend the Experience.
  7. In the event a Participant is unable to attend the Experience due to testing positive for COVID-19 or any other reason, SIA shall not be liable to such Participant, and is not obliged to reschedule the Experience for the benefit of such Participant.
  8. While SIA shall take the necessary steps and precautions in accordance with prevailing SMM, Participants acknowledge that they are attending the Experience at their own risk. SIA is not liable to the Participants in case any of the Participants test positive for COVID-19 following the Experience. 
  9. Participants shall comply with the dress code set out in Clause 1 above. 
  10. Eligible Members shall declare their dietary restrictions and/or allergies, as well as those of their guests (if any), to SIA in the registration form.  However, SIA cannot guarantee that SIA and/or Shangri-La Singapore will be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions and/or allergies. SIA shall not be responsible or liable for any medical claims, reimbursement of expenses, losses or damages suffered or incurred by Participants in connection with the food and beverages served during the Experience. 
  11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIA shall not be liable to the Participants for any consequences that Participants may suffer (including without limitation any disappointment, loss, damage, death, injury, disability and any loss or damage to property or person), or that result in an infringement of any law or regulation, from any cause in connection with the Experience and related activities.
  12. In the event that the Experience cannot proceed at the specified date, time and/or venue due to unforeseen circumstances, including circumstances arising from or related to COVID-19, SIA reserves the right to reschedule the Experience at its sole discretion.
  13. Unless otherwise specified, SIA will not be responsible for and will not bear any and all expenses and ancillary costs which may be incurred by Eligible Member(s) and/or Participants in connection with the Experience.
  14. SIA will not be liable or responsible for any separate experiences and/or promotions, including any disputes that may arise in relation to the same that may be offered by Shangri-La Singapore, Physician Tan Koon Yaw, and/or the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic during the Experience.
  15. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participants shall indemnify and hold harmless SIA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and all of its respective directors, employees, servants, agents and contractors (the "Indemnified Parties") from and against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature arising out of, in connection with, or due to the Participants’ participation in the Experience, the use of any information or material supplied by the Participants to the Indemnified Parties, the Participants’ withdrawal from the Experience for any reasons, and/or any act or omission of the Participants.
  16. Conditions of use for the websitePrivacy PolicyCookie Policy, and PPS Club/KrisFlyer terms and conditions shall apply.
  17. SIA may capture photographs, audio, video, and other recordings ("Recordings") of the Participants in the course of the Experience. By registering for and/or participating in the Experience, Eligible Members and/or Participants consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and other processing (collectively, "Process" or "Processing") of such Recordings for commercial and/or publicity purposes across all media, including but not limited to, SIA's publications, and websites. Eligible Members and/or Participants may withdraw consent to Processing of Recordings of them or their child by contacting PPS Club Events team at PPSClub_Events@singaporeair.com.sg or informing a member of SIA’s staff at the Experience. Such consent by Eligible Members and/or Participants also constitutes agreement that the Recordings in their original or edited format may be Processed as described above without further notification, remuneration or compensation, and that copyright and all other intellectual property rights in and to all Recordings shall vest solely and absolutely in SIA.
  18. By registering for and/or participating in the Experience, Eligible Members and/or Participants consent that SIA may Process their personal data for the purposes of the Experience as detailed in these terms and conditions and in accordance with the SIA Privacy Policy. If you provide us with any personal data relating to a third party (e.g., your guest), by submitting such information to us, you warrant and represent to us that you have obtained the consent of such third party to you providing us with their personal data for the relevant purposes set out herein, as well as all purposes set out in the SIA Privacy Policy and by or for the benefit of the persons referenced in the same. Where such third party is a child, Eligible Members also undertake that a parent or guardian of that participating child has been notified of and consents to such processing and provision of personal data on behalf of the child.
  19. SIA reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or terminate the Experience without prior notice and without liability to any Eligible Members and/or Participants.
  20. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Experience, these terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  21. A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
  22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
