Checking in with partner airlines

When you book with Singapore Airlines, you may be flying on a flight operated by our partner airlines—even if the flight code begins with SQ. The operating carrier of each flight in your booking can be found on your itinerary.

If the first flight in your itinerary is operated by a partner airline, you’ll need to check in at the partner airline’s website or counter.

However, if the first flight in your itinerary is operated by Scoot, you may be eligible for online/mobile check-in via the Singapore Airlines website or app. Find out if you are eligible for online/mobile check in here. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria, please proceed to the Scoot Airport Counter early to check in and drop off your baggage.

Here are some examples:

Codeshare flight

Has a 4-digit SQ flight code (e.g. SQ 8542), but is operated by our partner airline. Check in at our partner airline’s website or counter.

Partner flight

Has a 3 or 4-digit flight number with another airline’s flight code (e.g. OZ 384), and is operated by our partner airline. Check in at our partner airline’s website or counter.

Scoot flight

Has a TR flight code (e.g. TR 18), and is operated by Scoot. Check in on flyscoot.com, or at the Scoot-operated Airport Counter.

You may be eligible for online/mobile check-in via the Singapore Airlines website or app, which you can find out more here.

If the first flight in your itinerary is operated by Singapore Airlines, and you have connecting flights operated by our partner airlines—you can check in with Singapore Airlines for all your connecting flights to your final destination.
