For flights between Delhi and Hanoi, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites (50kg) on eligible Delhi–Singapore flights. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), Business Class and Suites (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Delhi to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on both the Boeing 787-10 and the Airbus A380-800. Suites on the Airbus A380-800 offer a spacious fully flat bed. On the Singapore to Hanoi sector operated by the Airbus A350-900, Economy Class offers similar 32-inch pitch seating with up to 19-inch width, and Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Delhi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free transit tours into the city, which generally require a minimum layover of around 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter connections, stay airside to enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, rest areas, and family zones located across the terminals. Airport hotels and nap facilities are available if you wish to rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Delhi follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Hanoi follows Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7:00 and also has no daylight saving time. Hanoi is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Delhi throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Delhi–Singapore and Singapore–Hanoi) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Hanoi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
